Tibnin

Also known as Tebnine

Tibnin is a town in southern Lebanon, in the hills east of Tyre. Around 1105 Hugh of Saint-Omer built the crusader castle of Toron there, which became the centre of a lordship of the Kingdom of Jerusalem. The castle fell to Saladin in 1187, and a later fortress built on its foundations still dominates the town.
