Tisquesusa
Tisquesusa (died 1537) was the last independent zipa of Bacatá, the southern Muisca realm on the high plain of present-day Bogotá in Colombia. When the Spanish under Gonzalo Jiménez de Quesada arrived in 1537 he avoided battle and withdrew, and he was killed by a Spanish soldier who did not recognise him. His death opened the way to the Spanish conquest of the Muisca.
