Tui
Tui is a town in the province of Pontevedra in Galicia, on the Miño river opposite Valença in Portugal. A Roman town and the seat of a bishop from the sixth century, it was destroyed in the Muslim conquest and resettled under Ordoño I of Asturias in the ninth century. Its fortified cathedral, begun in the twelfth century, overlooks the river border.
