Vandalic War
The Vandalic War was fought in 533–534 between the Byzantine Empire of Justinian I and the Vandal Kingdom in North Africa. Belisarius landed with a small army, defeated King Gelimer at Ad Decimum and Tricamarum and took Carthage, restoring Roman rule in Africa; it was the first of Justinian's wars to recover the western provinces.
