Wat Phra That Lampang Luang
Wat Phra That Lampang Luang is a Buddhist temple near Lampang in northern Thailand, built within a walled enclosure on an old fortified mound. Its large gilded chedi, said to enshrine a relic of the Buddha, and its wooden open-sided halls make it one of the finest examples of Lanna architecture. Local tradition links it with Nan Thip Chang's defeat of the Burmese governor of Lampang in 1732.
