Wu Sangui
Wu Sangui was a Ming general who commanded the defences at Shanhai Pass in 1644. After rebels captured Beijing, he allowed the Manchu forces through the pass and joined them, enabling the Qing conquest of China. He was later granted a large southern fiefdom, and his revolt as part of the Revolt of the Three Feudatories was suppressed by the Kangxi Emperor.
