Xochitécatl

Xochitécatl is an archaeological site in southern Tlaxcala, Mexico, on a hill beside Cacaxtla. First occupied in the Formative period, it has a circular Pyramid of the Spiral and other pyramids, and was reused as a ceremonial centre in the Epiclassic period, when Cacaxtla flourished. Offerings of female figurines suggest a cult linked to fertility.
