Yang Guozhong
Yang Guozhong (died 756) was chancellor of Tang China under Emperor Xuanzong and a cousin of the emperor's favourite consort, Yang Guifei. His rivalry with the general An Lushan helped provoke An's rebellion in 755. When the court fled Chang'an in 756, mutinous soldiers at Mawei killed him, and the emperor was forced to order Yang Guifei's death.
