Yeshaq I
Yeshaq I was emperor of Ethiopia from 1414 to 1429, a son of Dawit I of the Solomonic dynasty. He fought the Muslim states to the east, and some accounts place the death of Sultan Sa'ad ad-Din II of Ifat near Zeila in his reign. He also sought allies abroad, sending an embassy to Alfonso V of Aragon in 1427.
