Abdul Ghafur Muhiuddin Shah

d. 1614 · 17th century

Abdul Ghafur Muhiuddin Shah was sultan of Pahang, on the east coast of the Malay Peninsula, from 1592 to 1614. His reign is associated with the Pahang legal code, the Hukum Kanun Pahang, and with trade and alliance with the Dutch, who were then contesting the region with the Portuguese. He was one of the last rulers of the old Pahang line descended from the sultans of Malacca.
