Johor
Johor is a state at the southern tip of the Malay Peninsula, which became the seat of a Malay sultanate after the fall of Malacca. Like Malacca, Penang and Singapore, it functioned as a commercial entrepôt. The site cites it as part of the trading tradition established by the Srivijaya Empire.
