Al-Nabigha al-Dhubyani
Al-Nabigha al-Dhubyani was a pre-Islamic Arab poet of the 6th century, counted in some collections among the poets of the Mu'allaqat. He lived for long periods at the courts of the Lakhmid king al-Nu'man III at al-Hira and of the Ghassanid rulers, writing praise poems and apologies after he fell from favour. At the fair of Ukaz he was said to judge between rival poets.
