Person
Allen Yancy
Allen Yancy was vice-president of Liberia from 1928 to 1930 under President Charles D. B. King. A League of Nations commission of inquiry found in 1930 that Liberian officials, Yancy prominent among them, had shipped forced labourers to the Spanish island of Fernando Po and profited from the trade. The scandal forced both King and Yancy to resign in 1930.
