Alsium
Alsium was an ancient port town on the Tyrrhenian coast of Etruria, at modern Palo Laziale near Ladispoli, west of Rome. It served as one of the harbours of the Etruscan city of Caere and became a Roman citizen colony in 247 BCE. Wealthy Romans later built seaside villas along its shore.
