Ameinocles
Ameinocles was a Corinthian shipbuilder named by Thucydides, who records that he built four ships for the Samians about three hundred years before the end of the Peloponnesian War, that is around 704 BCE. Thucydides cites him in his account of Corinth's leading role in early Greek shipbuilding, and the passage is one of the earliest pieces of evidence for Greek naval technology.
