Anirudh Chand
Anirudh Chand was the son of Sansar Chand and the last raja of Kangra in the Himalayan foothills. In 1828 he fled to British territory rather than marry his sisters into the family of the Sikh minister Dhian Singh, and Ranjit Singh annexed his lands. Kangra passed to the British in 1846.
