Antiguo Cuscatlán

Antiguo Cuscatlán is a city in the La Libertad department of El Salvador, on the south-western edge of the capital, San Salvador. It takes its name from Cuzcatlan, the most powerful lordship of the Pipil before the Spanish conquest, whose centre lay nearby. Today it is a prosperous suburb with universities and business districts.
