Apollo Grannus
Apollo Grannus was a Gallo-Roman healing god, the Celtic deity Grannus identified with the Roman Apollo and worshipped especially at springs. His cult was strong in eastern Gaul and the Rhineland, and his greatest sanctuary was at Grand in the Vosges, where a large mosaic and an amphitheatre survive. The emperor Caracalla sought a cure at a shrine of Grannus in 213 CE.
