Person
Aryenis
Aryenis was a Lydian princess of the 6th century BCE, daughter of King Alyattes and sister of Croesus. According to Herodotus she was married to Astyages, son of the Median king Cyaxares, to seal the peace that ended the war between Lydia and Media in 585 BCE. The marriage made Croesus the brother-in-law of the last Median king.
