Bacolor is a town in the province of Pampanga on Luzon in the Philippines. During the British occupation of Manila in 1762–1764 Simón de Anda y Salazar made it the seat of the Spanish resistance and temporary capital of the colony. Much of the town was buried by volcanic mudflows from Mount Pinatubo in 1995.
