Bagnolo in Piano
Bagnolo in Piano is a small town in the province of Reggio Emilia, in the plain north of Reggio. From the 14th century it belonged, with Novellara, to a branch of the Gonzaga family, who held both as imperial fiefs until their line died out in 1728. The territory later passed to the Este dukes of Modena.
