Baloch
The Baloch are an Iranian people living mainly in Balochistan, a region divided between south-eastern Iran, south-western Pakistan and southern Afghanistan, with communities in Oman and the Gulf. They speak Balochi, are largely Sunni Muslims and were traditionally organised in tribes of herders and farmers. Medieval Arabic and Persian writers record them in the mountains of Kerman before their main movement eastwards.
