Bantva

Bantva is a town in Junagadh district of Gujarat, western India, on the Saurashtra peninsula. In the princely era it was the seat of a small estate held by a branch of the Babi family, the rulers of Junagadh, and was closely linked with neighbouring Manavadar. Many of its Memon merchants later settled in Karachi, where the Bantva Memon community remains well known.
