1398 · 14th century

Bazm u Razm, "Feast and Battle", is a Persian chronicle by Aziz ibn Ardashir Astarabadi, court historian of Kadi Burhan al-Din, ruler of Sivas in central Anatolia. Completed around 1398, it describes his reign, campaigns and court life in an ornate literary style. It is the main source for his state and a rare detailed account of Anatolian politics in the late 14th century.
