Bendigo

Bendigo is a city in central Victoria, Australia, which grew after gold was discovered there in 1851. It became one of the richest goldfields in the world, later mined from deep quartz reefs, and attracted a large Chinese community. Its gold-rush wealth is reflected in its Victorian architecture.
