Bolesław the Elder of Niemodlin
Bolesław the Elder was a Silesian Piast duke, a son of Bolko I of Opole. On his father's death in 1313 he received the castle town of Niemodlin, west of Opole, as a separate duchy. He was close to the Bohemian court and in 1327 did homage to King John of Bohemia. His line held Niemodlin until it returned to Opole in 1382.
