Niemodlin

Also known as Falkenberg

Niemodlin (German: Falkenberg) is a small town in the Opole Voivodeship of south-western Poland, west of Opole. It grew around a castle of the Piast dukes of Opole and in the 14th century was the seat of a separate Duchy of Niemodlin. Its castle, rebuilt in Renaissance style, still stands.
