Brahma

Brahma is the Hindu god of creation, who with Vishnu and Shiva forms the Trimurti. He is usually shown with four faces and four arms, seated on a lotus that rises from the navel of Vishnu. Although he features prominently in myth, he has relatively few temples, and dynasties such as the Pallavas of Kanchipuram claimed descent from him through epic heroes.
