Briviesca
Briviesca is a town in the province of Burgos, in northern Spain, on the road from Burgos to Miranda de Ebro. It descends from Virovesca, a town of the Autrigones named by Pliny and Ptolemy that became a Roman stopping place on the road through the upper Ebro region. In 1387 the Cortes of Castile met there under John I.
