Bückeburg Palace

Bückeburg Palace is the residence of the princes of Schaumburg-Lippe in Bückeburg, Lower Saxony, developed from a 14th-century moated castle and rebuilt in Renaissance style around 1600 by Count Ernest of Holstein-Schaumburg. Its chapel and golden hall are notable works of the Weser Renaissance, and it remains the home of the princely family.
