Cesena
Cesena is a city in Romagna, northern Italy, on the Savio river near the Adriatic. Ruled at times by the Ordelaffi and the Malatesta, it was the seat of Cesare Borgia's government as Duke of Romagna in 1501–1503. It is known for the Malatestiana Library, founded by Domenico Malatesta Novello in the mid-15th century, one of the first public libraries in Europe.
