Conall Corc
Conall Corc is the legendary ancestor of the Eóganachta, the ruling dynasties of Munster. Early Irish tales describe his exile in Pictland and his return to found the royal seat at Cashel, traditionally in the 5th century. Historians treat the stories as origin legends that justified Eóganacht power over the province.
