Consell de la Terra
The Consell de la Terra ('Council of the Land') was the assembly of Andorra, created in 1419 when the co-princes allowed the parishes to send representatives to deal with common affairs. It developed into the Consell General, which from 1702 met in the Casa de la Vall in Andorra la Vella. It is regarded as one of the oldest parliaments in Europe still in existence.
