Constantine II of Georgia
Constantine II of Georgia was a Bagrationi king who claimed rule over all Georgia from 1478, as the united kingdom broke apart. He fought the breakaway rulers of Imereti and Kakheti and the atabegs of Samtskhe but could not restore unity. By about 1490 he recognised the division and ruled only Kartli, where his descendants reigned for nearly three centuries.
