Teimuraz II (1700–1762) was a Georgian king of the Bagrationi dynasty who ruled Kakheti and, with the approval of Nader Shah of Persia, Kartli from 1744. He passed Kakheti to his son Erekle II, and the two worked together to defend eastern Georgia. He died in Saint Petersburg in 1762 while seeking Russian aid, after which Erekle united Kartli and Kakheti.
