Cyzicene
Cyzicenes were electrum coins struck by the Greek city of Cyzicus on the Sea of Marmara from the 6th to the 4th century BCE. Usually staters of about 16 grams, marked with the city's tuna-fish emblem beneath a changing main design, they were among the most widely used coins in the trade of the Black Sea and the Aegean.
