Damanyima

Damanyima is a place named in Luba oral tradition as the northern limit of the early expansion of the Luba state. According to tradition, the founder Kalala Ilunga extended his realm north to Damanyima, west to the Bushime River and east to the Lufwa River. It thus marks one of the early boundaries of the Luba Empire.
