Dammam
Dammam is a city on the Persian Gulf coast of Saudi Arabia and the capital of its Eastern Province. In 1938 the well Dammam No. 7, drilled by the American-owned company later known as Aramco, struck the first commercial oil in the kingdom. Together with Dhahran and Khobar, Dammam has grown into a large metropolitan area and port at the centre of the Saudi oil industry.
