Damkina

Also known as Damgalnuna

Damkina, also called Damgalnuna, was a Mesopotamian mother goddess, the wife of the god Ea (Enki), lord of fresh water and wisdom. In the Babylonian creation epic Enuma Elish she is the mother of Marduk. She was worshipped with Ea across Sumer and Babylonia, including at Malgium on the Tigris.
