Delcy Rodríguez

Delcy Rodríguez is a Venezuelan lawyer and politician of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, the daughter of the left-wing leader Jorge Antonio Rodríguez. She served as foreign minister, presided over the Constituent Assembly of 2017 and became vice-president under Nicolás Maduro in 2018; after United States forces seized Maduro in Caracas in January 2026, she assumed the presidency.
