Doclea
Doclea was a Roman town near present-day Podgorica in Montenegro, at the meeting of the Zeta and Morača rivers. Founded in the first century, it became the main city of the region and was later linked by tradition with the Emperor Diocletian. The early medieval state of Duklja took its name from it. Its ruins include a forum, a basilica and baths.
