Dorset

Dorset is a county on the English Channel coast of south-west England, with its county town at Dorchester. In the late Iron Age it was the heartland of the Durotriges, whose many hillforts include Maiden Castle and Hod Hill. It later formed part of the kingdom of Wessex, and its coast, rich in fossils, is part of the Jurassic Coast World Heritage Site.
