Emperor Go-Komatsu
Emperor Go-Komatsu was the sixth and last emperor of the Northern Court of Japan and the 100th emperor in the traditional count, reigning from 1382 to 1412. In 1392 the shogun Ashikaga Yoshimitsu arranged the return of the imperial regalia by the Southern emperor Go-Kameyama, ending the schism and making Go-Komatsu sole emperor. The promise to alternate the throne with the Southern line was not kept, and his son Shōkō succeeded him.
