Ensisheim
Ensisheim is a small town in Alsace, France, north of Mulhouse. From the late 15th century until the Thirty Years' War it was the seat of the Habsburg government of Further Austria, with a regency and treasury for the western lands. It is known for the Ensisheim meteorite, which fell in 1492 and is the oldest recorded meteorite fall in Europe whose stone survives.
