Feis Temro
The Feis Temro, or Feast of Tara, was a ceremony held at Tara in early medieval Ireland, in which a new king of Tara was inaugurated through a symbolic marriage to the goddess of sovereignty. Irish annals record its last celebration under Diarmait mac Cerbaill around 560, and later tradition remembered it as a great assembly of the high kings.
