Fen River
The Fen River is the second-largest tributary of the Yellow River and the longest river of Shanxi province, China, flowing about 700 kilometres south through Taiyuan to join the Yellow River. Its fertile valley in southern Shanxi was the homeland of the State of Jin, whose early capitals and cemeteries lie along it, and it has remained the heart of the province.
