Gallura

Gallura is a region of north-eastern Sardinia, Italy, known for its granite hills, cork oak forests and indented coast. In the Middle Ages it formed one of the four Sardinian judicates, with its capital at Civita, near modern Olbia. Today its main towns are Olbia and Tempio Pausania, and its coast includes the Costa Smeralda.
