Ghumli

Also known as Bhumli, Bhutambilika

Ghumli is a ruined town in the Barda hills of Saurashtra, Gujarat, near Porbandar. Known in inscriptions as Bhutambilika, it was the capital of the Saindhava dynasty in the 8th to 10th centuries and later a seat of the Jethwa rulers. Its remains include the 12th-century Navlakha temple, a large temple dedicated to the sun god.
