Gohad
Gohad is a town in Bhind district, Madhya Pradesh, India, with a large fort. In the 18th century it was the capital of the Jat Ranas, who held lands in the Gwalior region and allied with the East India Company by the Treaty of Gohad in 1779. The Scindias took Gohad, and in 1806 the British compensated the Rana with the state of Dholpur.
