Gollub War

1422 · 15th century

The Gollub War was a brief conflict in 1422 between the Teutonic Order and the allied Kingdom of Poland and Grand Duchy of Lithuania, named after the town of Golub (Gollub), which the allies captured. The Order received no help from the Empire and was ravaged by the invading armies. The war ended with the Treaty of Melno, which settled the long-disputed border with Lithuania.
